I have a question for the lesbians of LGBT. I have come to find

I have two theories.
1) Lesbian = Feminist and feminists are pushing hard on the "if you don't have sex with fat people it is rape" meme. So as a result lesbians are forced to like fat women.

Women are less interested in visual stimuli than men. Of course I would like a gorgeous model tier gf, but I'm more interested in the aura a person projects and would much rather date someone less attractive looking but with a more attractive personality.

There's kind of a generation thing. Like as a lesbian I notice what 35+ lesbians like and how their relationships are can be very different than younger ones. There's a lot more fatter girl relationships and strong butch/femme thing in older ones than younger. Younger lesbians I see a trend of being sappho/femme and few even bother with full butch and the relationships aren't so "oh this one is obviously the butch/stud and this one is the femme". I believe a lot of lesbians are overweight because it is a common symptom of depression, especially in women. As a fatty myself, I can say that my sexuality played into my depression a lot, and when I was faced with becoming a "fat lesbian" stereotype or worried that somehow I only liked women because I knew men wouldn't find me attractive (even though that's completely ludicrous), it only increased things. well i'm from the uk and have been living in the us for the past 4 years, i have to say that as a lesbian woman i have found this "fat is absolutely normal and gorgeous trend" quite repulsive and common, i am 5.4 and i have a normal physique i am by no means an skeleton but i just couldn't share a bed with someone that is 3 times my size, not happening.

Im a bi MtF in a relationshipwith a cis bi grill, going for about 2.5 years now.
