I feel your pain OP, having narrow hips, as well as wide shoulders is the worst feeling ever. I found though HRT realy does help, eventually all my old guy clothes stopped fitting properly, and now it seems most girl clothes fit well as long as they are not asian sizes. also my thighs are starting to look sexy.

Maybe put on some female fat and your body will even out more nicely

This, if you're young hrt can actually grow your hips because in most people those bones don't fuse until your mid 20s. Even if you're too old for that you can still get fat distribution there. I'm 19, 11 months, and my hips have gone from 38 inches to 40.
