your father not being agp does not negate any genetic influence, genetics are not that simple -- your family could have a high amount of genetic loading for agp that only turns up occasionally, and you could have distant relatives with it due to the same genetic loading

Depends I'd guess if the depression is currently untreated and they think with treatment you have a high chance of not self harming it would work for you. On the other hand if you're being treated and still adamant on suicide it would work against. Would also depend how many transplants are available and the situation of other possible recipient's. If they have 1 transplant and 2 recipients having to choose to save one person and let the other die they are going to choose the person that wants to live. If one person is old and only has 10-20 years left anyway and the other is a child with a whole life to live they are going to lean towards giving it to the child. Then there's also blood compatibility and chance of rejection. A lot of factors go into the decision.
