I'm an FtM, and I can confirm the women's is likely more dangerous. When I didn't pass well in either washroom, I found men at the most gave me a startled look or stared when they thought I wasn't looking. If there's ever anyone in the bathroom that sounds really "off" for some reason (rowdy and starting shit with people, talking to themselves, etc.), I just leave or lock myself into a stall until they're gone. "Beat up" (or worse) still strikes me as a possibility, but I'm pretty careful to avoid walking into a bad situation.

The women's was ugly, especially when I was a kid. Women would yell, glare, storm out of the washroom when I was there, gang up to block the doorway, gang up to block the sinks, try to call security, etc. Protesting that I ACTUALLY HAD A VAGINA and wasn't in the "wrong" bathroom had literally no effect.

Like, I've heard of a few cases, but I can count them on one hand. I have heard of several MORE cases of straight men doing those things (including planting cameras in washrooms and changerooms). And there are thousands of trans women who use the washroom every day without incident.

Maybe we overblow the dangers of peen a little too much? Like I said above, I am just cautious in the men's because they have such a physical advantage over me...but the chances that something bad will happen are rare, I think, and I am careful.

I know for a fact you've never heard of any cases, because the FBI collaborated with law enforcement agencies around the world to try and compile the sum total of the number of times this has happened, and the result was 0 times in all of human history in all the world.
