How do you legbutts who don't live in major LGBT hubs meet people?
I live outside a fairly mid-sized city but I seem to already know who all the homos are--or all the ones on all the dating apps, anyway--and I don't seem to "click" with any of them. There's only one gay bar in town and it's mostly frequented by leery older guys.
I just want a bf, you guys. Up until recently I didn't care all that much because I'd never dated anyone seriously and I didn't really know what I was missing, but a few months back I fell HARD for this boy from way out of town and I finally realized how nice it is to have feelings for someone else, but then he dumped me for someone who lives closer to him, and he left me high and dry. :(

I do drive, but I'm a bit hesitant to try something particularly long-distance, else I run the risk of the same thing that just happened to me happening again. I go to the city near me periodically but Grindr's pretty dudsville and there's been no one new on my Tinder in a week.
The guy who dumped me was actually from Virginia, too.
