Lately I've been thinking about how worthless beauty is nowadays. It seems more and more beautiful girls either become porn stars, cam girls, or fuck random guys on a whim. Something makes me sad about the fact that I could visit a cam girl site, not pay a dime, and see gorgeous girls naked. Or by the fact that I could hook up with an attractive girl by buying her a few drinks.
It is hard to put into words, but I don't feel like I deserve to see these girls naked for the little effort that is required on my part. It isn't just money I'm referring to necessarily, but the lack of any effort at all. Im not attempting to raise these women up on some pedestal. Their worth, or lack thereof, is a product of their own actions. But what really bothers me is that the worth of beauty has been completely destroyed by porn, sexual liberation, etc. It actually makes me sad that beautiful women cheapen themselves so willingly. In some sort of quest to liberate themselves and own their body, they give it away cheaply or freely.
I know a few very pretty girls that are abstinent or at least only interested in serious monogamous sexual relations. Every time I interact with these girls, I can sense the sincerity in their speech and the warmth of the conversation. It feels very different from the vibes I get from most college girls I talk to. I think that their self-respect translates into respect for others.
I grew up in a evangelical church. Looking back, I think my church actually did treat women with more respect than any secular group I've encountered. Girls were taught that they had worth, and therefore they should take pride in their beauty and protect it. They were taught that the greatest liberation is the liberation of protecting your worth and the power it gives you. The women who I knew took these teachings to heart are full of character and warmth. The girls that became high school or college sluts, became vapid and cold.
