I have this friend who's also an mtf who thinks the same way you do, I think a lot of people do. Recently she sort of gave up trying to transition (she never did begin) because of this mentality and says that she wishes that she could change how she feels. She now goes by he, obviously.
I worry about his/her mental state sort of. It isn't healthy to hide from yourself, I know that more than anything.
