Sort of. I'm on hormones but not socially transitioned. I love the field and pretty much everyone in it has been nice, but feel like I will never really fit in, or "be a good fit" due to being seen as male, and feel like I'm setting myself up for failure. I am trying to not let it get me down before I get my degree, but all I see in my future is a trail of emails with "we chose another candidate who was a better fit", and being permanently grouped in with the men.

A lot of my friend have worked in that field, and a lot of them have ended up quitting because they of the emotional burden it carries.
