Well for one 4chan has never been a hugbox and has always been pretty hateful toward attention whoring, camwhoring, selfies, etc so it's no surprise people treat you like shit in threads like passgen and other generals.
I mainly post in hrtgen and try and help people find information or post studies and such and I've never noticed a lot of hatred in that general.
