Where the fuck is the "gay lisp" from? It's obviously not hereditary or biological of course, but it also seems illogical it's a learned behaviour if the lisp is something other people around you growing up do not have.
Also, am I the only one who hates it? I take speech therapy classes to correct it because I hate the way it sounds.

>all autists are gay

>>7705934
No, I'm autistic, gay, and have a lisp
I'm just tryin to put 3 and 3 together

I think its the other way around anon
all gays are autistic
>>7705947
then why do straight autists not have it?
>>7705907
it's learned from the women in your life.
it is a subconcious attempt to seem more female and thus attract a dominant male.
it can be unlearned.
>>7705907
It's a speech pattern adopted from females, it's actually relatively well researched.
Even straight guys with single moms or who have had too much exposure to females get it.

I'm autistic, gay, and don't have a lisp.

It is learned behavior, look at this documentary: http://www.doisoundgay.com
The spoiler is that the narrator didn't speak like that until going to college. He subconsciously started imitating other gay people after coming out.
