Additionally, unwanted testosterone needs to be suppressed by blockers, while unwanted E does not (because T has an epistatic relationship with E and "blocks" it just by being in solution together).

It might be true that early on in transition, FtMs may have trouble passing. But a few years on testosterone will carve out a masculine face, regardless of how long ago the person's adolescence was. It's why MtFs need to start early but for FtMs it doesn't really matter.

So yeah for baby trannies maybe you're right but 10 years down the line, late transitioning transgirls might still have trouble passing but it's absolutely unheard of even for late transitioning transboys.
