What are cis lesbians' thoughts on feminism? And the Left

both are pretty bad. i don't like feminism or tumblr lesbians.
i'm pretty feminine and i don't think being a girl is hard. 3rd wave feminism is literally ruining the idea of girl power - along with the godawful "lesbians are majestic perfect creatures uwu" tumblr outlook.
90s girl power was the peak before it all went to shit (buffy, the craft, riot grrrl, stuff like that.)

I think both are pretty good. Second wave feminism had a pretty negative outlook on being a woman so they wanted to abolish gender and sought to act more masculine. "Girl power" obviously fit into this really well since it was encouraging girls to be more aggressive, outspoken, ambitious, etc.

Third wave feminism is more about reclaiming femininity and opposing misogyny, rather than trying to destroy gender. It's okay that women act/feel a certain way, and if anything that should be celebrated. Women can be powerful in their own way without acting like men. Which is also why a lot of third wave lesbians can act like lesbians are perfect creatures, because femininity is seen as an inherently positive trait. I think it's a really cute outlook.

Don't like Joss Whedon's work, but I love The Craft and the 90s girl power aesthetic, good taste.

This is pretty good too tho, second wave feminism was shit and femmes are cute.
