Pretty sure that's just a myth that you get ugly boobs if you up your dosage too fast.

Anyway, a normal dose is 4mg E and either 50mg cyproterone or 200mg spironolactone (split up, so you would take 2mg E twice a day and 25mg cypro/100mg spiro twice a day). But that's a high dose to start out with, so maybe start with 1 or 2mg E and 12.5mg cypro/50mg spiro, and work up from there.

If you can't do legit for whatever reason, order off any number of websites. There's Inhousepharmacy, Alldaychemist, and QHI. Compare prices and choose what's best for you.

Yeah that is not only a miserable amount, your hormones will be completely unstable and make you feel shitty with that frequency. Guys who do steroids casually for bodybuilding purposes inject 250mg every 3-4 days as even once a week will have your levels peak and dip.

If you can, definitely get on dutasteride because it is way more powerfull than fin.

Also dutas has a very long half life and takes months to reach peak concentration in your system, thats why i am still taking fin until i run out in a few months.

having female-norm estrogen levels alongside male-norm testosterone levels definitely wouldn't prevent male-pattern baldness -- in fact, trans guys seem to bald earlier and more rapidly than cis guys, though much of that comes from an era where most trans guys transitioned in their late 20s through 30s rather than barely out of puberty
blocking dht would prevent or halt mpb (see finasteride), but also has detrimental effects on male development as a whole so is probably a stupid decision until 2+ years on t

So...I'm on 60mg of testosterone ethanate biweekly. It WAS 60mg every week, but my last blood panel came back, and my free testosterone was INSANELY high - and I got the blood drawn hours BEFORE my next shot too, so it was at lowest ebb. A few months ago, it was in the middle of the "normal" male range at the same dose, but I could tell something was up because I started getting terrible acne out of nowhere around Christmas.

Is this really weird? I'm baffled that my T is so high when I'm barely loading anything into the syringe. I'm post-hysto though (which I got pretty young for other medical reasons, it wasn't transitional).

Also sad I can't do weekly injections anymore. I looked forward to them all week, now I wait twice as long.

I don't know about total test levels, my doctor didn't give me that. He didn't even give me the units for the free test (I'm assuming that's what he was giving me anyway, the numbers were too low to be total test). He said the lab uses "8-29" as the "normal" range for adult males, I was into the 40s. If that matches the numbers I've googled, that puts me into the very top percentiles of T for men.

My doctor was clearly freaked out by that, and asked about physical symptoms, if I was experiencing "rages" and stuff like that.

He's stated more than once now that he's pleased the lab automatically was using the male range for me, and that he didn't have to ask them to do it, so I don't think he's lowballing what we're aiming for. (He also specifically took me on BECAUSE I'm trans and was stuck with a doctor who wouldn't help me.)

I honestly DID want to start at "trendscum" levels for a while (not indefinitely, just for the first several months) for a handful of reasons...especially because I've heard that taking too much early on can damage your vocal cords and I just wanted to be very easy on them.

Instead, my voice broke after the third shot and then again around the 6th. It's alternately quite deep and hilariously squeaky right now, so...so much for easing it along.

Yeah, I got that. (E.g. a 20-something guy who got an "8" on the test they gave me would be told he's in the normal range, when that's probably what an elderly man should be at while he should be in the high 20s.) But like I said, the "29" was the upper limit for men the lab gave us, and I was well over that.

At this point, I'm just kicking myself for not asking for units, as that would make it far easier to google than just a number sans context. I've got to remember to ask next time exactly what the numbers he gave me represented (free T, I'm still assuming) and the units so I can compare across what different labs consider a "normal" male range.
