My advice to you is keep studying and don't worry so much about relationships. Anyway please help me with this. I have this 100GB HDD with Slackware that was inside an old laptop. I tried to move it to a newer laptop but the BIOS/UEFI won't even recognize the disk, though it even boots in the old laptop. What's the fucking problem here? Yeah, exactly. Look at this shit, the first pic should show an asterisk for boot, at it doesn't have one. The second one should show the partition table and it says it has none. I don't know how the fuck this can even boot in the old computer, I think I made a really half-assed installation back then. It's no wonder the UEFI won't recognize it as a bootable device. Welp, there we go! It only took me 40 minutes and not 2 hours like I said.

Basically the problem was lilo searching in /dev/sda for the root partition, when in fact it was in /dev/sdb. I tried to edit the bootloader config file to match /dev/sdb but it was still looking in /dev/sda so I simply swapped my HDDs places and now it werks.

How to move on?
I literally cannot imagine being romantically interested in anyone but my ex.
