How long does it takr to be flexible?

I want to be able to do the splits for my bottoms. Dont judge i like doing versey stuff. Ive been practicing the splits everyday for a while off and on.

It's not very different from working out. Progress is constant, but slow. You have to flex everyday. Slowly pushing yourself to your limits and beyond, but carefully so you won't get your joints hurt. It's relatively painful but I kinda enjoy the burning sensation on my tendons. I love stretching. People on my gym make fun of me, call me ballerina, but I don't mind.
Unfortunately I stopped exercises for one year to study for a very important exam, so I lost all of my progress. I'm slowly trying to get it back. My objective is being able to full split without the aid of my arms, like my picture but not holding my foot up there.
