What do the FTMs here consider to be the masculine ideal? What does being a "real man" mean to you?

Reminder that trannies' thoughts on the ideals of masculinity and femininity have no real value and are usually bulshitty and warped
Im mtf but i want to weigh in for the ftms who might be curious about an answer to this question. I repressed for years and larped as a "real man" and imo i think i have a healthy (not hyper masculine parody) image of manhood.
I consider genuine and healthy masculinity to be a kind of energy. I liked to tell myself that it meant "doing what must be done". Sometimes a man is faced with a choice to put the needs and welfare of others ahead of his own, to a reasonable limit. It doesn't mean that you make yourself a doormat or you never seek your own happiness. It means that you are almost always going to go out of your way to be exceptionally loyal and selfless. Any gender can be exceptional in this regard, but this is what i mean by masculinity as an energy. What i am talking about is more of *choosing* the role of "protector" in your life. You live your own life and never let anyone else choose your path. Being a real man means that in addition to living your own life to the fullest, you try your damnest to help others with their own.
To me this means you have no ill words for others and very few people have any ill words for you. You're just a "good guy". Not the beta orbiter type, but the principally strong rock that everyone wants on their side.

Yeah, this is my ideal.
I'm a "fixer", I want people close to me to tell me if they have a problem so I can do my best to fix it. Not one for comforting so the best action is to solve the problem. I think to be a man is to be reliable and practical, keep the people around you safe in whatever manner they need. And for that you need to have a strength of character, will and morals so you can stand up for, provide for and protect those who need you.
Keep thinking of these song lyrics.
>I have never wanted more, to be your man and build a house around you
>I am just like all the rest of them: sorry, selfish, trying to improve

Nah, there's a difference between solving problems and curing sadness. If something sucks, that's cool, it sucks and I'll agree it sucks.
