1) Lots of women have less-than-stellar relationships to their own sexuality, excluding women from the setting alltogether might make it easier for them to enjoy the idea of sex.
2) Similarly, a lot of pornography is made for men, and the women in it might not feel real to other women, so they seek out porn where there's no women being degraded/turned into sex dolls/whathaveyou.
3) A lot of women take a strong interest in character dynamics and relationships, when a majority of speaking roles in media are male, the majority of interesting relationships will also be male/male.
4) They might be ftm but not recognize it.
5) Because they will never be male-bodied, inaccurate depictions of male anatomy isn't as bothersome as inaccurate depictions of female anatomy (which is more prevalent anyhow). It's a fantasy where you're not distracted by going "that's not how it works".
