I completely agree. I have no idea why this shit keeps happening and being presented as something positive. It's like they're using children as a human shield to say "oh you hate trannies? What about this poor little 3 year old? Are you saying you hate a 3 year old?"

If a little kid wants to present as the opposite sex, as much as a little kid can, and their parents are cool about it, then that's great. But internationally parading them around for it hurts pretty much everyone involved - the kid who now has a shit ton of pressure to live up to and is at the mercy of worldwide perspectives on their situation, the skepticle cis people who just see a child being warped, and the wider trans population who now look even more predatory.
