Why is MK is still the only game series to have gay/bi characters

What's always bugged me about this argument is it implies you cannot have a gay character that is flamboyant and obviously gay, or make being gay their character arc

Those people do exist

B Being gay barely makes any fucking difference in the game, he never dates anyone or expresses interest in anyone
C There are many other games where this happens
D Unless the guy is flamboyant or expresses romantic interest in someone it's literally impossible to know if he's gay or not, so it's possible for a bunch of gay characters to be flying under your radar

The intentions behind the inclusion of lgbt characters are a very important factor in how people react.
