HRT prevented facial and body hair for me, because I stared early. Don't have hair anywhere besides my legs and arms (I'm Mexican). If I don't shave for a while, I just get a few tiny hairs on my chin, I couldn't grow any more if I tried.

So I guess I'm not the best to ask. I do know that FtMs tend to grow a lot of facial and body hair, and I always find myself surprised by how leg hair looks on cis men and FtMs compared to mine, it's much "bushier" if that makes sense.

For MtFs, is does nothing, or make the hairs grow slower, and they may lose color.
FtMs grow facial hair, but I don't think it grows that well.

Just makes it grow slower.
I've heard topically applied 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors also can work to make it grow significantly slower.

To actually get rid of it permanently you'll need electrolysis otherwise you can just keep waxing it and perhaps over many years it will thin the hair out and turn to vellus hair.
I've always plucked my neck hair and it does inevitably result in permanent removal if you do it enough, and what is left is quite fine hair.

If you take hrt before you grow facial hair, you will never grow male facial hair

If you already have male facial hair, hrt will do nothing

for ftms, if you take hrt, you will grow male facial hair

I have a full beard after two years on T. It just takes a while, same as a boy hitting puberty.
