That's why ffs exists. Years of testosterone tends to cause brow bossing, a thicker jaw, and a bunch of other skeletal traits that make one's trans status relatively obvious. Many trans women who start younger typically don't deal with a lot of that sort of thing, but everyone comes to terms with gender dysphoria at a different pace depending on their environment, upbringing, and all sorts of variables.

How often do I have to write on this board that starting HRT before age 18 is illegal in most western countries and could only be done with getting antiandrogens and hormones online. Also not everybody is willing to do that, plus these online shops do not deliver in every areas. Last but not least you need to be financially indepentent to do that (read: not every body under age 18 could afford online hormones).

That being said, the chances of passability depend highly on the individual. There are, indeed, 14 year old transitioners, who end up not passing at all. Also I've seen transitioners, who were in their early 30s, when they started HRT, and did extraordinarily well.

The most important factors, when it comes to passing, are your genes as well as your natural hormone levels (, which are greatly effected by your genetic disposition, but should be mentioned separately since there are also environmental factors influencing the hormonal balance).
Age is, of course, a factor, too, but it's commonly overestimated. If you were lucky in the genetic lottery, you might very well pass, even if you started transition at age ~30. Later than that it will most likely become more difficult since most people experience natural hormonal changes in their 30s. But even that is not a must. There are rare cases of people in their 30s, who still look like teenagers and have to show their license every time they want to buy cigarettes or alcohol.

Being a delusional hon, who thinks she passes, but doesn't outside her hugbox, and believing in the unpossibility of passing with few young transitioning exceptions are two sides of the same coin.
