/lgbt/, as an apethetic bystander to the cause, I offer a suggestion to what I consider a crisis in your community. I believe the inclusion of more letters on the LGBT abbreviation train will (and already has) cause issues by becoming too long and unwieldy.
I'm an engineerby trade and use mathematics to solve most of my problems. I propose a solution your problem free of charge.
I propose we use a 3D Cartesian coordinate system (cylindrical coordinate system is not ideal) to describe gender and sexuality. The domain lies between (0,0,0) and (10,10,10). The x axis represents gender, 0 being male, 10 being female. The y axis represents orientation, 0 being heterosexual, 10 being homosexual. Finally, the z axis represents how asexual you are, 0 for verile, 10 for asexual.
For exmple, a CIS male would be G(0,0,0). A lesbian woman would be or G(10,10,0).
This system will be exceptionally useful for transgender and bisexuals who wish to express either their transition or range of sexuality. They could describe their orientation range as a vector, or their current status as a point. Everyone could relate with others an a more apples to apples approach by using sexual scalars.

make the y axis androphilia vs. gynephilia, less confusing bro

Well noted. Thanks for the correct nomenclature.

>The x axis represents gender, 0 being male, 1 being female
ftfy
we don't like 'nonbinaries' any more than you do
not sure how this is meant to fit trans people in though, and the z axis seems unnecessary and could possibly be replaced with another 0/1 cis/trans
also cis is not an acronym, it's a word and does not get capitalized
t. 0,10,1 if the scale is [male/female]/[androphilic/gynephilic]/[cis/trans]

huh what about autogynephilia bro?
I've actually had a similar idea before - transitions and such could be described as affine transformations
