By the very last days my dad could barely speak, it was just me and my brothers around him trying to pretend to be cheerful. He seemed okay a week ago or so, but he had been deteriorating a lot in the last year. He had prostate cancer for almost a decade, and he kept doing his life, taking medications, he even got off oxy when he saw he was taking four times the maximum dose by just sitting in the sun and holding it together.
