i transitioned at 25, i'm a bit over a year and a half on hrt, and i'm starting to hit that point where i'm realizing i'll probably never pass before i start getting old. can't decide if i should get ffs and become an hero if it fails, or detransition.

There's no evidence for that. All I know is that scientific studies show altering your hormones during puberty doesn't affect how puberty changes your body. If you did hrt from 15-25 of course that's longer than 20-25 but it would have nothing to do with puberty just the amount of time doing hrt.

Nope. Hrt before puberty is finished is essentially replacing the puberty of the natal sex with the opposite. If you had a twin sister with the exact same genetics minus a Y chromosome and plus an extra X, she's not going to grow a beard just because that's what puberty did to you. Testosterone and estrogen both have significantly different effects from eachother, and both lead to significantly different puberty's.

They don't. Your body is designed to react to the presence of hormones produced by the body at a certain point of development. No matter how minute or how many extra hormones you throw in, you can't stop it and it will always have the same result. This is literally proven and accepted by medical doctors. (they tried to create super men, literally not joking, by giving young boys extra testosterone and it had no effect) If you take hrt it might SEEM like you changed something, because your body is also reacting to those hormones as well as puberty. But like I said, it would be the same effect with a week's worth of hrt at 15 as a week's worth at 25.

The hormones that cause the natural puberty, aren't gonna be there if you're on hrt. Just because your body is always gonna react the same in the presence of testosterone even if excess is added doesn't mean your body is going to react the same in the absence of it, and even if it did the added hormones would still cause your bones to seal and stop growing sooner, and thus stop masculinising. You're literally talking out of your ass.

That's not true though. Even if you just increased estrogen, if you used enough it would end up suppressing the testosterone that causes male puberty. And most hrt regimes involve more than just medication to raise estrogen, but also medication to lower testosterone, thus preventing its masculinising effects and in a young enough person preventing a male puberty.
