I'm on HRT for a year and my mind/personality/emotions didn't change one bit.
>>
>>7235513
If HRT changed nothing about your personality, then you are a kissless virgin NEET tho

There will be psychological effects aside from the physiological effects of the hormones for most people.

That said, at 3 months HRT, I have found myself crying more easily, but it's still unusual that I fully tear up. For a bit I felt quite a lot more emotional, and then I think my dude brain took over again and I suppressed it.
>>
>>7235281
What do you expect? your warping your mind from what its meant to be. Course you will be fucked up
>>7235513
This is BS unless you have a super sterile environment 24/7.

Of course I know something changed since that's how brains works, but so far nothing noticeable at all. Nobody notices anything and I don't notice it either.

And no, my environment is pretty lively and I'm a happy go lucky genki faggot with tons of friends.

>then you are a kissless virgin NEET tho

I am a kissless virgin loser but at least I'm not NEET.
I don't have any friends though I just go to college and then come home and sit in my room.
>>
>>7235281
Huh, that's weird.
I was a mess before antidepressants, then they made me calm and reasonable.
Hormones didn't change much other that killing most of my libido and giving me insane cuddle urges. 8 months in, haven't noticed any mood/personality changes.
>>7235570
I'm a kissless virgin, but I'm not a NEET. My parents are homophobic so I had to get a job first in order to transition.
>>
>>7235281
Its alright, I would cry easily when I was a teen and still get teary and Iv never taken mones.

Girls are overly emotional and often incapable of rational thought when a situation requires it

Wow really makes your brain think huh hehehhahe

Pretty much explains why women shouldn't be allowed to vote or hold positions of power hehehhahe, biology is rad
>>
>>7235859
but politicians are old post-menopause women whos ovaries are long since stopped pumping estrogen into their brains
>>
>>7235831
But anon, I love trying to be a girl
>>
>>7235281
Besides the mental effects, I would like to be able to cry again. I always feel like a little bitch but I feel so much better after a good cry. Not being in tune with my emotions is what's killing me.
>>
>>7235281
Women are irrational creatures because estrogen makes them overly emotional and clouds their judgement, if you take estrogen you will be the same. Becoming dumb is the cost of becoming a real woman, you just have to accept that.
>>
>>7235281
>used to be a logical person
>takes hormones

Literaly "smart but lazy" tier delusion
>>
>>7235513
Same

The emotional thing is very minor. It's a little bit easier to cry when the feeling arises but it's not like I get there often. I never cried when I was a regular boy because I already built up the mental fortitude to do it and that really hasn't changed with hormones. I don't think my personality changes significantly either.

If it has happened to you then it's probably a placebo effect based on a desire to be more "mentally feminine" which happens to MtFs, not femboys

>>
>>7236847
Better than pandering to mental illness.
>>
>>7235281
Hormones don't make you cry, shitty thoughts and situations make you cry, along with emotional movies and situations. This isn't because of the hormones, but the estrogen DOES tend to heighten the ceiling on the emotional ups and lower the bottom on the emotional downs. You definitely just aren't even slightly used to regulating it and you are being overwhelmed.
>>
>>7236910
He's a faggot. That's why he's crying.
>>
>>7236791
I'm 21 years old and have been on hormones for a year.

I legitimately have not noticed a significant mental effect and I've been very observant. I even keep a diary for feelings and thoughts that helps me orient myself.

If you really think that the majority of discrepancy between male and female emotionality is because of the neurological effects of hormones and not because of the differing social approahces instilled on either sex then you're just a sexist.

Hormones do affect your emotions but the capcity to control and direct them is determined socially
>>
>>7236926
Have you tried electro shock therapy?
>>
>>7235281
I never legitimately cried before i started Hrt. but it feels good. Ive almost gotten addicted to it.
>>
>>7236947
Shit is totally crude and ineffective.
You're a human not a dog, you need to work with fundamental motivation and perspective rather than physical conditioning
>>

>I used to be a logical person
No, you used to be a borderline autist, like most introverted people socialised as boys.
>>
>>7237132
You already replied to that quote multiple times senpai, you sound very triggered
>>
>>7237089
I don't really think transgender people can be considered human. It's no different than using a cattle prod.

>>
>>7237193
Doesn't matter, you'll be locked up in the electric pens anyway.
>>
>>7235756
I don't think that anyone is trying to claim that crying more often means you're irrational (aside from a few /pol/lutants) or anything like that.
I'm not the OP, but while I'm happier overall on HRT, I've also noticed that it just feels easier to cry whenever I do get upset. This is just based on anecdotal evidence, I kind of suspect that testosterone may make it harder for people to try, considering that I found it much easier to do so before puberty started and I've seen a few FtMs here who claimed that they found it much more difficult to cry after HRT even when they felt upset or distraught. Again, I don't think that this is any sort of evidence that women are more emotional or anything like that, simply that women have an easier time expressing their emotions than men.
>>
>>7236893
Edgy bants, my dude!
>>
>>7235281
Funny how when /k/ or /pol/ say women don't Infantry, they're muh soggyknee, but when /lgbt/ says it...

Takes hormones to be more like a woman
>cries like a woman
>then complains about it...
Keep going, OP they're definitely working.
