There's a number of gay and bi characters in the Fire Emblem series alone, even before the waifus/husbandos became an actual game mechanic.
I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least a few others I can't think of off the top of my head, but 90+% of the time its completely irrelevant in video games- Samus could be a total carpet muncher for all we know, but it wouldn't be terribly relevant to blasting hideous space bugs and she barely even speaks outside of the game which shall not be named.
