I'm a senior in highschool trying to transition without my parents knowledge (mtf). I'm planning on buying a Po box and shipping hormones to it. I have cash but I don't have my own finances. My plan currently is to buy paypal cards and transfer them to bitcoins. is there a better way of doing this? Does the plan make sense?

Open a bank account, use your debit card/checks. Bitcoin isn't backed by FDIC - it's objectively worse than fiat because there's no liability if your $ just disappears. There were kind of several stories of this happening to people the last couple years or so.

Do you have reason to believe your parents would reject your decision, or accept it but not support it financially? Because why pay for a PO box if they accept, and why pay yourself if they will?

Good luck not getting scammed going from pp to btc. Best bet is to get a refillable visa gift card and using qhi or asset chemist. If you are dead set on btc, I have some that I could sell to a fellow mtf.
