Why do so many trans girls still make their living through camming and sex work?
>>
Because you touch yourself at night.
>>

Because you are being paid to be attractive and desirable. It's the ultimate validation and it pays well with minimal physical effort.
>>
>>7108975
i cam and i hate it, but it's the only way i can make over 50k a year and support my lifestyle because i have a minor criminal history that seems to be enough to exclude me from grown-up jobs.

i also self-employ and own a business completely unrelated to sex work tho.
>>
Cause its easy

>i also self-employ and own a business
good for you, pham
>own a business
real estate?

ebay stuff, with goals of eventually starting a clothing line. i want to do it right though, not some gildan tee screen print cash grab shit.

Because social anxiety means being terrified of going out in the real world and having to interact with people.
>>
I don't now since I'm still early in my transition, but I'm considering getting into camming later. Being so sexy that people pay to see you is an awesome feeling, and it gives you the ability to explore a part of yourself that isn't usually socially acceptable. Plus having a free niche being trans helps build an audiance.
>>

Underrated.
>>
How does anybody make a living off camwhoring?
Then again I guess I'm too ugly to make much, that or too black :/
>>
a lot of reasons
its relatively easier than most jobs
its fun sure
trans discrimination makes it hard to keep jobs
most of us have little family ties anymore
>>
>>7110492
A black transgirl fills even more of a niche, if you're trans I'm just a assuming.
>>
>>7111780
I'm short, but it's hard to see with no scale. People told me I was cute early on in transition. I did make a decent amount, maybe I wasn't dedicated enough.
One thing I know I lack is a defined waist line. That and I felt like I always was overshadowed by the girls with implants or naturally bigger boobs.

Requires next to zero effort. Eternal market for it thanks to chasers who will just throw money hand over fist to satisfy their fetish.

Hilariously enough even then there are still Trans out there who can't make it work because they can't even exert the tiny amount of effort it takes to dress up, be on at the right time, set a consistent schedule, and learn the most basic operation of a webcam / streaming.

>MFW I see them on Chaturbate like 2+ hours in, 100 tokens in tips, and they're staring at the screen with a blank face

Shit is depressing to watch. Or you'll watch people do a fucking 3-4+ hour stream, finally hit 2,000 tokens, then realize it took them 4 hours of pummeling their asshole and trying to stay hard for the finish just to make $100.

If you've actually worked on a following and on a brand - different story. But you basically need long term patrons to make it work. People who are dipping in your streams to drop $25 - $50 and carry most or all of the stream. Not a lot of people are going to do that. Sometimes it's just the crowd: I've seen 2,000 viewers with next to zero tips because people are just being cheap and the host isn't teasing / pushing for it.

Also it helps not to bleed out of your ass when you go to ride a dildo. Not a lot of people want blood in their porn.

desu if you're fun & interact a lot with costumers/viewers (aka mostly chatting normally, sometimes in a flirty way, with occasional sexy teasing), you'll have a solid fan base even without big boobs or a 10/10 body.
>>
I do it because I'm like emotionally 12 and haven't been able to handle a normie job in like six years.
>>
>>7115986
I feel you on basically being 12. I hit adult hood, began transitioning, and turned back.
>>
>>7108975
I would hate myself more than the daily average if I fell for the sex work meme and became a literal stereotype of the transgender women in my country.

I guess this is also the reason I'm a broke shut-in NEET who lives with maruchan, f2p mmos and gray market hormones bought overseas.
