Sugary pre-mixed atrocities aside, I'm not sure I've met alcohol I don't like. Whiskey (scotch or bourbon) is probably what I drink most frequently, I like the smokiness. Never order it when I'm out though, usually opt for wine, some kind of cocktail or beer instead. I really enjoy how wild craft beers have gotten, they'll go for all sorts of weird flavor combos these days and I'm into that kind of thing.

Well I'm not one to give out advice, since I'm currently sipping on 4 Hands Snake Oil (really fruity and easy drinking IPA. Almost dangerously so) while shit-posting in the tub. But yeah, notice your habits and work around them. When you get a craving focus your mind on something else. Go for a walk or work out a bit.

I love to drink while reading for pleasure, after work/school, basically any time I'm relaxing, so I'll instead drink tea or diet ginger beer. I've built so many habits around drinking it's just silly at this point. Sunday is my only day off so I'll sip on something from 2pm to bed.

I like it more than Eagle Rare. It's more woody. Nice and sweet, with great dark fruit and candy balanced out by how woody it is. Cask strength so it really opens up with some water. It's near 140 proof. With a low rye mash bill it's mostly balanced between the dark candy/fruit flavors and wood. There's definitely some vanilla but it's not always present.

They can. I'm living proof. I'm only 5'5" but I build muscle like you wouldn't believe. Thing is, I eat enough to build that muscle. I still built muscle while going on bike rides that burnt 2000 calories (around three hours) because I ate enough to match it. I was also lifting for an hour three times a week, as heavy as I could. Adding weight to the bar whenever possible. That's how I lost twenty pounds and ended up swole with lifts that might have gotten me accolades if I lifted competitively. Sadly that's three years in the past. Breaking bones, school, work, relationships, and alcohol got in the way.

What I'm saying is, to the skinny woman, your family has a lot of habits that they've imprinted on you. These habits make it hard to gain weight. If you count your calories and exercise, you'll get the endorphins that come with it, and some muscle mass. You won't gain muscle like I did (genetic defects that I won't get into (my sister doesn't have the same double gene that I have so even though we worked out and ate the same I ended up with much higher lifts and more muscle mass)) but you'll get lean and strong.

It's always worth it to lift and eat well. It doesn't take that much effort with smart phones and apps to track your calories. Lifting is fun! High intensity cardio is fun! Pushing yourself to your physical limits is cathartic! Do it and be strong. Feels great bb. Try it out for 8 weeks. You won't regret it.
