Depression is shitty, silent and really annoying. You need to seek help for it as it will even stop you from enjoying the basic things of life. Ultimately, it will prevent you even from transitioning.

I was stuck for years in depression, and i didn't cared enough even to leave my bed.

I've gone to a therapist, was prescribed LEXAPRO (wich i've got out because fuck these meds) and in general improved my life.

I'm now going to start self-medding at 20. I don't want to kill myself anymore.

Don't be so eager to encourage people to take psych meds, they often do more harm than good

I started getting /fit/ for the last 3 months and it showed. It kept me occupied and gave me a purpose. Now i don't have suicidal thoughts on a daily basis anymore. Still don't know what the fuck i am doing with the rest of my time though...

your not alone. I'm fine for several months and then I get stuck in a hole for awhile. sometimes a short few days and sometimes for months. hang in there it normally goes away. certain events in your life can make those feelings worse. I've never had professional help or meds and never will. Meds scare the hell out of me and I fear they could turn me into one of the murderous monsters on the news. But they work for some.
