As someone who's kinda afraid of females and being a bisexual, I often struggle with trying to understand whether I'm an actual bi or just bi out of necessity. Being one out of necessity would imply severe shortcomings on my part that I'd then feel the need to work on and fix. Being one "naturally" (born or grown, whatever) would, however, imply that it's just who I am and I'd feel easier accepting myself as is. Not that it would exclude any potential for self improvement, just allow me to accept myself on a very deep and personal level.

Fortunately for me I was intrigued by homosexuality since being 7, and had bisexual fantasies as a teenager, before I became even aware of my future problems with dealing with women. So I guess that speaks for me being a natural.

Still, I know for a fact that I often prefer dealing with men rather than women simply because men are easier and less intimidating to deal with.

And so I keep having doubts.
