You and me both. About this time last year I was teetering on psychotic in Kandi land, writing about cyborgs and cyberspace and living vicariously through those 2. Perhaps it's just the same/similar feeling of terror and denial I had the first week I figured out I was Trans ("I'm not gonna like change my body or whatever or act any different lol") but I'm honestly okay living as a fem boy. I'm absolutely not a fem boy, I'm certainly gender female like my transition better work and make the fucking dysphoria at least bearable, but somehow living as a very very pink queer boy that doesn't act like a flaming homosexual doesn't seem terrible. Anyone have this feeling? I can't tell if I'm lying to myself because of how utterly fucked I am, or if I'm actual just going to be okay prancing around doing my own thing. I've never been a follower. Literally never. I can see myself talking like a girl and having people still think I'm a guy and being like "whatever". I just don't want to look into the mirror and want to die.

And also I don't want hair or a penis. And also I don't wanna get stabbed, but society is catching up quick. In 3 years it's been a very different environment for Trans girls around here at least.

I'm also going into the womens changing room.
It's like, almost 1am, so I hope to god no one is there. But most of the time, if I use, say, public restrooms and I use the mens one, I get confused looks.
But if I use the females restroom I get judgemental looks.
I'm worried I'll get the same in the changing room too. I mean, I won't actually change in there, I'll just wear my swimsuit under my workout clothes, but still.

I'm going anyway because I should do things that unnerve me specifically so I can learn from the experience of it. But I'm EXTREMELY nervous and I really don't want to and I'm really freaking out.

For the record I'm ~6months into HRT and I barely pass. I get 'miss'd a lot at work, but I also get 'sir'd still on occasion. I don't think I pass but I can't tell if it's my self-esteem talking, or if I really don't.
Regardless, I'm extremely scared.

90% of the time, pictures look worse than reality unless you know your shit when it comes to taking pictures imo.

Passing IRL is mostly clothes, hair, and demeanor (to include personality, voice, and gait) Body type can be a problem too if you're muscular or fat, but if you're skinny, then there's extra stuff you can wear underneath to help the proportions.
