I think the problem in general is that sex has been built up beyond belief. Things we think are "normal" aren't that normal.

I once spent 4 weeks with an african tribe (their heritage goes back before Judaism existed) as part of a project to help them build water wells. They had no concept of LGBTQ people. There was none in the tribe of 1500+ members. They also had no knowledge of oral/anal sex and all the other weird kinky fetishes that people do in the rest of the world. It wasn't something they ever even imagined doing or thought about. They had normal sex for procreation and that was it. There was no rape, group rape, sexual discussions, etc. Their focus was simply on surviving. Granted girls in the tribe were getting married and having sex with older men in the tribe by the time they were 13-15 but this was natural for them.

What I'm trying to say is what we deem as normal isn't necessary normal at all. Just because a large part of the world thinks gay sex is normal and healthy doesn't mean for others it is. There's many pure people who exist in this world who have no concept of such things. It was a eye-opening experience living with them for a month.
