I appreciate the input, but this is why I asked specifically about Bicalutamide. Bica doesn't reduce T levels, but stops T from being absorbed by the body leaving it available to turn into E through aromitase.

So that's why I asked if taking Bica alone and letting that process do it's thing would give me enough E, or if I'd need to take more.
I've tried asking /femgen/ about this stuff because they seem to use Bica more often than others, but the results are always inconclusive and then the question's buried in their shitposting.

FWIW, I've been taking 25mg of Bica every other day for a couple weeks now and have already noticed some positive effects, but I'm still trying to find out if Bica alone will take me all the way to where I want to be so I can properly plan the most efficient route.
Even if the answer is "It varies, take Bica for 6-12 months and see how you look", I'd be fine with that, because I currently just don't know whether it's worthwhile to continue taking it alone or if I should add E ASAP.

Actually this anon is on to something.
Aromatase isn't the key factor. But high does of bica in prostate cancer patients can cause gynecomastia because of decreased androgenic activity combined with increased estrogen.

This is how it increases estrogen:

>in response, the brain tells the testicles to make more testosterone, and the pituitary gland to make more hormones too. The pituitarygland makes both estrogen and testosterone. The newly increased testosterone is blocked from functioning in the body, but the estrogen goes unchecked.

So being on enough bica to block all of your T can in fact increase estrogen levels and cause some feminization. However the estrogen levels will be fairly low, like maybe around the low end of the female range.

See, this is where all the incongruities start. A lot of people say gyno is one of the most reported side-effects of Bica monotherapy, but all of the papers saying so report it as something like "40-60% in breast size, swelling and/or tenderness" which isn't much to go off of when you don't know what baseline was increasing by 40-60%
It's also only been studied in prostate cancer patients taking 150mg daily, not as HRT at lower doses.

As I said it would be probably low female range of estrogen. It's hard to say if that can give you the results you want.

I personally recommend taking estrogen too. This will help keep your T levels from going high making it more difficult to block with bica.

If you do take bica alone I would recommend like maybe 50 or 100 mg/day. I'm not too knowledgeable though so take this with a grain of salt and do your own research too.

If you don't mind, for reference; how long have you been on that dosage, what level of feminization has it had, and how well endowed are the women of your family?
I've read that genetics can play a large role in how much and how fast feminization takes place, and all of the women on both sides of my family are quite large, which is part of why I'm being so careful about adding E.

I've been on spiro for like 1.5 years essentially before and only on bica for like 3 weeks. I'm also still on spiro for a while while my bica levels build up in my blood. I already had kind of low male range testosterone so I figured 25 mg might be enough. So I can't really speak to it much since it's only been a short time and I was already feminized to an extent beforehand but I do feel like my muscles have been a bit sore and weaker, possibly getting smaller, and my erections are weaker/softer than just a few weeks ago.
