It took laser. It hurt a lot the first session, since almost no pore (lower than my nose) had fewer than three follicles growing out of it. Things are much better now, although the laser crew can't get some of the wider hairs, like the fine, reddish brown ones growing along the bottom outer rim of my eye sockets. Idk, the odds of that happening are honestly pretty low. It's always a possibility, but the reality is that detransitions and regret are rare. If you've gotten to the point you're willing to see a therapist, then you likely will be fine, but that unknown is very intimidating.
In the unlikely event that you don't like it though and end up detransitioning, one thing to remember is that it takes a lot to actually admit you were wrong. If anyone doesn't respect you for being able to say it and act on it, then that's their problem.
