Race (as in skin color) is easily provable as they literally wear it on their skin. Sexuality and gender dysphoria, is internal and thus not really "proveable" unless you literally force that person to have sex with the same sex or transition as a test.

There's precedent for it historically. People have pretended to be different races for decades. There was even a wealthy white New York socialite who lived a double life as a working class black family man just because he was bored.
