Hey /lgbt/, I wanted to know if there is a way to prevent the hives after shaving your privates. I shower and exfouliate alot, but they happen anyway. Any tips?
Pic unrelated.

Shave properly.
Sharp razor, nice foam or gel on slightly wet skin, soften the hair in the shower first. Press firmly but not too hard, and move the razor confidently. Go one way, then add more foam/gel and go the other to get the rest.
Try taking vitamins as well, so your skin is healthy. Shower DAILY, not 'alot', and ditch the 'exfoliate' shit. That's just marketing.
Also, let the skin breathe. Spend an hour a day naked at least. Sleep that way if possible.
Thanks, i dont let it breath so that must be it. Thanks for the tips.

as you get older your skin gets tougher.
also, you could try waxing.
or consider leaving some hair and just trimming.
hair serves a purpose.
it protects and insulates and spreads pheremones.
this current trend to look like a prepubescent is disturbing.
why not just cut it down with electric clippers?

Some people like their skin to be completely bare. I personally would do it if I didn't get ingrown hairs all the time.
