If a friend doesn't know your sexuality, and might take issue if he finds out, is it dishonest to not tell him, or is it annoying to preface life by telling everyone your sexual preference?
Imo I'd want to know, if I were straight.
If it's relevant, tell him.
>Relevant: "Do you have a gf?", "What's your type?", "Ever shagged anyone before?", "Are you gay/bi?"
>Irrelevant: "So, something happened between me and my gf...", "I saw the hottest thing yesterday...", <Insert any conversation that has nothing to do with your sexuality.>

So there's no point in openly saying "I think you should know X"?
If he takes issue with your sexuality then he is too retarded for it to matter. Do whatever is the most convenient for your life.
Just because you would want to know doesn't mean you would have a right to. Sexuality can be a private thing... IMO it should be. I wish straight people would stay in their closet and never talk about their disgusting breeding near me.
