Your chin will prevent you from passing. It's kind of a crummy photo, but otherwise it could work out just fine. You've got some work ahead of you for sure, but one thing you should not do is put the idea of transition back in the box because anons made fun of you. If you want to do it, it usually (almost without fail) turns out you basically have to.

I'm mtf, 21 months on hormones and pass 90% of the time (never been misgendered in public since I went full-time last year and get hit on regularly), but I'm still getting full FFS next week because I don't like how I look without makeup. Basically every trans girl you see who passes with a bare face has either had surgery or started pre-puberty. My passable trans friends also all either have had FFS or plan to get it - it's a pretty standard part of process. Since you currently have an extremely masculine jaw/chin, I recommend that you don't go full time till you've had your masculine features fixed (nose, brow, and upper lip could also all benefit from surgery (e.g. Google 'lip lift'), and you need a ton of electrolysis).

Disregard the comments in this thread being posted by NEETs who don't have a clue what's possible - if you're willing to put the effort in (and it will take fucking effort) you'll stand a chance at getting where you want to be. You can pay to have a virtual approximation of how you'd look post-FFS if you're interested (I forget the name of the site but it wouldn't require much searching)
