OP, if you tell them or >>6758208 they end up finding out, only three things can occur:
1) They're fine with it, nothing bad happens
2) They're not fine with it, but since they're stuck living with you, they realize it's in their best interest not to shit where they eat, and nothing bad happens
or
3) They're not fine with it, and chose to express this which will eventually result in you having good grounds to get your roommate changed, in which case something bad might happen, but it'll be fine eventually.

my freshman year roommate walked in on me making out with my boyfriend at the time and just awkwardly smiled and left. i thought he was gay too, turns out he wasn't. i changed dorms halfway through the year so it didn't really matter. nothing really matters so unless your roommates look like they could kill you, it's fine to tell them

My roommates were totally cool with it. I'm les and girls are usually more accepting of that sort of thing.
But I think in college you can be yourself and no one is really going to care to much. Unless you go to Bible college or something it's a pretty liberal environment. If it is an issue I'm sure your school would do something about it or let you change dorms.
