I'm also trying to not make any enemies at work. I considered myself irreplaceable at work a few months ago because no one else likes to do my job or my graveyard shift or seems to be gentle enough with baked goods to decorate them without making a mess.

But recently my boss keeps praising me and saying how amazed she is about how I always "exceed her expectations" and how when there were problems I always seemed to improve and respond to more work with a positive attitude.

The year is 20xx and the world is crippled like ghost in the Shell world.

It's about 3 main plots, but basically the destruction of the last remaining cities on earth because of global climate change, but beneath that are internal geo politico stories about war, corporate military, genetic research and virology, climate change etc.

1 main line follows a street punk girl with blue hair, a protohuman (cloned hermaphrodite) autistic girl, and a war cyborg turned cybernetic DJ post world War 4. These 3 end up living together in a Fort like box and hacking the government and a few mega corporations. But then the DJ goes back to war, the hermaphrodite starts "malfunctioning" and becoming more and more human, and the other girl is caught in the middle of all of it trying to sort out which side is which because both of the other 2 go to war with each other.


Also follows a generic virology student who moves up and up and up and up and eventually tries to become a queen when war breaks out and she gets flushed into the slums and has to learn humility and shit. And her former husband an investigator with unlimited access to technology like can just flip from channel to channel spying on citizens. He has to expose the conspiracies and such but ends up breaking down and helping the evil virologist.


Also follows a kid who lives in slums, and a few other side characters. It's an entire universe at this point. 4 parts long each a full book. It's mostly finshed I just need an artist.

I go through slumps as well. I haven't written in a long time just because I've sort of given up on my ability to make quality work.
