Sometimes I wonder if I went trans just to avoid anal, I was raised to be really disgusted at the idea of anal, and I never will either. There's more to it than that, but that's the bit I am reluctant to admit to people.

Lots of people are uncomfortable about sexual acts, especially until they do them. You're probably much better off trying to work through your discomfort than drastically reframing what the typical gay person looks for in a relationship :^)
