as a totally random side note, a lot of the "tumblr" FtMs I've got to know well who seem at first like they're putting no effort in and just transtrending are actually tearing themselves up inside and pretending they don't care about HRT etc. because testosterone is so difficult to get hold of for self-medding. I think people can be hard of AFABs doing tranny shit 'cause they forget how limited the options are. women already wear essentially male clothes these days so there's not much they can do to emphasise their male identity without going over-the-top and wearing a tuxedo or something, til they get 'mones.
