I would be more worried about the effect smoking has on your overall health when combing with HRT. Research DVT, you might want to quit.

nicotine binds with estrogen receptors, but doesn't activate them. so it makes the est less effective.

it also causes your test to increase. all in all its quite shit.

i doubt i could convince you to quit, but once you do, think twice before starting again

I smoke weed, and I know a few other MTFs who do as well. At least one of them has been smoking WAYYY more than I do (which is like once a week and only a bowl or less) and she is getting great results so I donno.

I know weed increases estrogen or something so might even help?!

plus alcohol is a little more complicated.

if you used rarely, it has masculinizing effects. if used chronically, it becomes feminizing.

i dont remember how it exerts these effects, but there you go.

shrooms/lsd: just fine,no interactions or effects on hormones. interestingly, i've heard a lot of trans girls say that taking either of those will give them self-acceptance and lessen dysphoria for a month or two.
dmt: no interactions or effects. may discover your spirit animal.
amphetamines: no interactions or effects
mdma: no hormonal effects, but dehydrating. so is spiro. you will be thirsty.
cocaine: doesn't effect hormones.
opiates: metabolized by cyp450, same as your hormones. so it'll interfere. hope you're a chipper..
