when I had my hair sideswept I got way more weird looks, more looks at my nametag at work, more sirs, and even someone outright saying "is that your real name? or a name you like?" at my nametag all in like 1 or 2 months

ive been misgendered twice and gotten way less weird looks for about 8 months now since i got my bangs back

bangs help if you actually have a strong brow. if you just have a large forehead that youre insecure about they wont help though
