Are "cruising spots" still a thing anywhere or have they gone obsolete?

Pretty obsolete now since they are very rare and those that exist are frequented by old guys from what I hear.
All the ones I've seen mentioned online get marked sooner or later by cops (who seem to have internet access just like the rest of us). If one pops up, it doesn't last very long.
Depends where you live but in my experience they are still a thing.
Look for parking lots that are a bit off-road.
If you live in a university town the parking lot there very well could be used.
Piers and docks tend to be a safe bet.
copse, parks.
You just have to look. Sometimes you'll get to a place and you just know something is going on there. Stake the places out for a few weeks. Watch for cars that park and stay for a long time.
