Also, I've had several people the opinion of who I value point out the features I hated most about my face aren't that out of line with feminine standards and that they actually give my face character.

To her the number one thing was if I thought having female secondary sexual characteristics was how the BDD would lessen. If it "aligned" with what I wanted to look like.
