I'm pretty lean/toned. Because of my size difference fetish I've never been too concerned with getting HUEG and STRONK at the gym; being a super bitch sub, I'm more interested in dating guys who are huger and stronger than me. As for the thing my friends did... it's stupid, and terribly embarrassing. I feel like a nancy for having it affect me the way it did. Without going into detail, two of my best friends who I'm out to, and a group of other guys thought it would be funny to wake me up in the middle of the night after a party, hold me down and shove their genitals in my face.

I felt disgusted. By me and them, and it made me realize more than anything else, that I just didn't fit with them. I'm not cut out to hang with them. I'm not fond of such "jokes" and also felt betrayed by those two friends of mine.

Not to mention two other very close friends (who also know I am gay) saw what they did to me and just laughed it off doing nothing.

In retrospect, I feel abused although I know it was in jest. And because of that, I don't really want to stay friends with them.

So yeah, I do need better friends. I realized they don't give a shit about the fact that I'm gay, and don't respect me for it at all. I'm putting myself first now, and won't share any future relationships with them.

You need to find a familiar environment. In your case, the gym would likely work best. Since you're a fitbro, I'm assuming you are a regular. And probably not the only one.

Find another regular. Without being creepy, perhaps just greet him if you happen to meet each other. Do this with several of them. If you see a familiar face on a consistent basis, it is only natural to greet them, or be greeted by them.

If you do this a good amount of times, perhaps something more than a "Hi." can develop. Another way would be perhaps asking for help with an excercise. Aren't there some things like bench pressing that require someone to watch out for you?

Just approach someone and say "Hey, my benchlifting partner can't come today. Can you help?" In a gym environment that seems like a natural thing to do.

Don't force it, of course. But be open and foregoing. When they help you, or when you engage in a conversation about lifting, just perhaps ask what they are doing at the moment.

I'm always interested in what other musicians do career or education wise. And it's a normal thing to ask.

Find out more and more about whoever happens to become your target. After a while, perhaps just ask them out for a coffee. Or ask for his number to synch up gym routines. Ask for or offer advice about fitness utensils.

That would be my suggestions. Hope this helps. And I know it might seem hard with a dash of anxiety, but if you take it slow, there's not much that can go wrong. It does take time, but starting with a simple "Hi." on a daily can do wonders.

So I wish I could enjoy the new Smash Bros DLC but I have literally no one who's good enough to play it with me and I feel like the lack of practice is just making me worse at the game. Whenever I play against someone, I avoid playing the same character twice. I'm solid enough on the foundations of the game that I can competently play with anyone on the roster, and I feel like the concept of mains limits my enjoyment of the game.

That's even false to the point that I would have to say you misunderstand tournaments entirely. Naturally, the focus is on winning, but usually the people are really awesome and content with either outcome.
Not to mention that a lot of pros main characters that they do just love. Of course some of them falling out of meta means they won't be played at tourneys, but pros usually have several chars they are good with.
Either way, seeing people be competetive about something so simple and enjoyable is incredibly fun for me.
