How often do trans people have to see the doctor about gender specific problems, like mtfs and prostate exams and ftms and pelvic exams?

Same as cis for our birth sexes. UCSF University of California San Francisco has some good information pn the differences between cis and trans for both Mtfs and FtMs.

Things do change some based on what operations have been had. A MtF will always need prostrate exams, but it is best reached through the neovagina after an SRS operation. On the other hand pap spears aren't needed.

General rule of the thumb is that vagina owners should get a pelvic exam once a year, ftms included if they still have all their lady parts. This is pretty important if they are on T.

I'm about 7-8 years overdue for one.

Why not just get it done?

not that anon, but short answer's dysphoria

I knew I wasn't going to be a regular as soon as I realized I had to have a breast exam. If something gets really out of the ordinary I'll go get looked at, but until then, fuck that noise.

Nah, just crazy anxiety. I just have severe anxiety surrounding anything revolving around ANY doctors/medical stuff. No doctors believe me until they see it and I really don't want to have to go through a breakdown before they throw some vallium my way. It's pretty bad, I punched my dentist in my throat once and had a coworker burn my arm shut instead of going to ER.

What the hell? That's stupidly violent
