So basically, I guess marxism is the idea that captialism must always degenerate into communism via the process of revolution. I don't think that's true, since there are several successful capitalist countries in the world, and countries that turned to communism (eg, Zimbabwe) entered severe depression. China, a communist country since the 1950s, actually went the other way and is almost capitalist now. That seems to have been very profitable for it.

It seems ironic that educated people who can afford to go to university would be lead to believe in marxism. I know that they're just kids, but still. They should be able to think for themselves. In any case, I think this is just youths going through their rebellious phase, nothing more.
